Welcome
The Oldenstadt Family Farm is a 5th generation farm in Stafford, Oregon. Homesteaded in 1883 by Fredrich Oldenstadt, the farm has been passed down through the generations of Oldenstadt Family.
As the urban areas around our farm grow, expands, & continue to change we find ourselves as one of the last large acre parcels and with a whole lot of questions as to "what to do with this property?" As fifth-generation stewards of this land, we are currently exploring modern agriculture opportunities that allow the surrounding community to engage with the land we hold near & dear. As we develop our plan of establishing and implementing a permaculture (permanent agriculture) based, regenerative perennial farming & conservation plan over the next few years, we are observing the natural cycles of the property, the wildlife, the "weeds", the water patterns, and the weather.
We currently offer vegetables & cut flowers at our farm stand, which opens in June- October. Follow us on Facebook & Instagram for seasonal updates and to join in our crazy farm-life adventures.
We started the Stafford Community Farm Cooperative in 2023. Want to join us in community farming, educational agriculture, and an opportunity to get your hands in the soil. Send us an email for more details.
In May 2024, Perry the Pig Bear-- a Mangalitsa Boar showed up at our backdoor and we quickly fell in love. Visit his page for more of his story, or follow along on his adventures on Instagram @PerryPigBear.
We look forward to connecting with you!
